Neuroscience, personalized oncology, robotics, and artificial intelligence in medicine were the main topics of the international HealthTech Synergy Hub Congress, which took place at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The three-day event was held under the honorary patronage of Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda, the Minister of Health.

The congress marked the first large-scale event organized by the HealthTech Synergy Hub (HTSH), an Advanced Medical Technology Center established at Wrocław University of Science and Technology in 2023. The center coordinated scientific, service, and educational activities, promoting collaboration between academia, business, and healthcare institutions.

The congress program focused on four strategic areas that defined the future direction of modern medicine: neuroscience, new trends in cardiology, personalized oncology, and robotics and artificial intelligence in medicine.

Among the speakers were renowned experts such as Prof. Marek Czosnyka – a brain physics specialist from the University of Cambridge (UK), Prof. Effie Kapsalaki – a neuroradiologist from the University of Thessaly (Greece), Prof. Jerzy W. Rozenblit – an expert in robotics and AI in medicine from the University of Arizona (USA), Dr. Kurt Krapfenbauer – Vice President of EMPA (European Association for Predictive, Preventive and Personalised Medicine), and Prof. Thomas A. Zelniker – a cardiologist from the Medical University of Vienna.

The three-day event featured lectures, presentations of healthcare-related research capabilities at hospitals collaborating with Wrocław University of Science and Technology, a poster session for young researchers, and networking panels.

The event was held under the honorary patronage of Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda (Minister of Health), Anna Żabska (Lower Silesian Voivode), Paweł Gancarz (Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship), Jacek Sutryk (Mayor of Wrocław), and Prof. Wojciech Witkiewicz (Director of the Lower Silesian Specialist Hospital in Wrocław).
